X-Men: First Class

X-Men: First Class is a prequel to all the other X-Men films with a cast including the always fabulous James McAvoy as Professor X, Michael Fassbender as Magneto and Kevin Bacon as Sebastian Shaw (the baddie). It has a host of other well known faces in it including brief appearances by Rebecca Romijn and Hugh Jackman. The film is about how these characters came to be the people we know from the other films including X and Magneto's shared past and how X came to be in a wheelchair. There was lots of action and the film was enjoyable but it felt a tad long at over 2 hours. Also, Fassbender's accent which was neither here nor there for most of the film suddenly turned proper Irish in the latter part of the film and it was quite distracting! Well worth a watch though!
