Burlesque

Burlesque stars Christina Aguilera as a small town gal who moves to LA to make her mark as a singer and dancer. She ends up working in a club called Burlesque, first as a waitress and later as a dancer and singer. Cher is the club owner who gets to sing a couple of numbers - one inserted very clumsily into the script! The love interests are the lovely Eric Dane and Cam Gigandet. There is also the always scene-stealing Stanley Tucci as the costume chap who, not surprisingly, bats for the other team! A great fun film which may have been funnier than intended!
