Killers, She's out of my league, Eclipse and Heartbreaker

I think we can see a pattern emerging here in that I always forget to review films right after seeing them and then play catch up. Not good enough I know but hey ho!

Okay, so I saw Killers a couple of weeks ago now and I really enjoyed it. It stars Ashton Kutcher as an undercover government assassin and Katherine Heigl as the woman he meets while she's on holiday. Fast-forward a few years and they're happily married and he's retired from the killing business, until Killers start coming out the woodwork to bump him off! A good fun film with two likeable lead actors and we get to see the lovely Ashton with his top off!

She's out of my League was another easy to watch film. Starring Jay Baruchel as the average Joe dating the woman out of his league and all the pitfalls associated with a 5 (him) going out with a hard 10 (her). Worth watching as it's pretty funny.

Twilight saga: Eclipse. What can I say? I'm a fan of the books although not such a massive fan of Rob Pattinson as Edward - not quite conventionally handsome enough for the Edward in my head. Don't get me wrong, I do like these films a lot and think Rob is very good BUT he's not quite what I imagined when reading the books. Anyway, this film is fairly true to the book although I did find myself a bit distracted at times trying to work out if certain bits were in the book or not - always an issue when watching films of books I've recently read. A fair bit of Jake-Abs action in this one which also included the line from Edward, 'doesn't he own a shirt' or words to that effect. The answer of course is, let's hope not! I shall be watching this again, possibly as soon as next weekend!!

Heartbreaker is a french film starring Romain Duris (I've never heard of him either!) and Vanessa Paradis (Joe le taxi anyone?). He is hired to break up relationships and is hired by her father to split Juliette (Paradis) from her fiance. Needless to say it doesn't go quite to plan. It was a funny and enjoyable film although I suspect many people went to see it not knowing it was French and subtitled as about 4 people walked out of the showing I was in which about halved the audience!
