Holy Rollers and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part two

Holy Rollers stars Jesse Eisenberg as a Hassidic Jew who gets caught up in a drug smuggling business along with other Jews. It was quite slow but enjoyable, not much to say about it really.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part two is the last film in the franchise and was fabulous! Starring Daniel Radcliffe and the rest of the usual cast it follows the progress of Harry, Ron and Hermione on their mission to track down and destroy the remaining Horcruxes. It has some fab special effects (I saw the 2D version) and is really well done with excellent battle scenes; very moving too. I may see it again but this time with the husband!

Larry Crowne

Larry Crowne stars Tom Hanks in the title role alongside Julia Roberts as the professor he meets when he goes to college after losing his job. Crowne was 9 times employee of the month until he loses his job at the U-Mart (or something like it), he goes to college as went straight from school into the Navy where he spent 20 years as a cook. He meets Mercy who is the professor teaching one of the classes he takes, as well as meeting other students and between them they change the course of his life. It's a lovely film and very funny in places, much better than the trailer suggests!
